Terms of Service
SMA BOOK (operated by ALFA TREND, a company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) provides an event management platform (the "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our platform, website, and services.
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using our Service as an Organizer or Attendee, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms of these Terms of Service.
1. Definitions

| Event | Any gathering (weddings, birthday parties, conferences, exhibitions, training sessions, etc.) published on SMA BOOK |
| Plan | The pricing package (e.g., free, per-event, per-attendee, monthly subscription) chosen by the Organizer |
| Service | The SMA BOOK platform, website, and all related services |
2. Our Role (Platform Only)
SMA BOOK is only a software tool. We provide the technology for Organizers to manage invitations, registrations, and attendance.
- We are not a party to any agreement between Organizers and Attendees.
- We do not handle payments between Organizers and Attendees. All event payments (if any) are made directly from Attendees to Organizers via offline methods (bank transfer, cash on arrival).
- We do not process online payments. SMA BOOK is not a payment processor.
3. Organizer Responsibilities
As an Organizer, you agree to the following:
3.1 General Conduct
- You are responsible for the content of your Event page.
- You must comply with all Saudi laws and regulations.
- You may not use the Platform for illegal activities.
- You are responsible for verifying the identity and eligibility of your Attendees.
3.2 Data Collection & Third-Party Tracking Tools
You may install tracking tools on your event page, including but not limited to:
- Facebook Pixel
- Google Analytics
- Other analytics, advertising, or tracking applications
If you use these tools:
- You are solely responsible for informing Attendees about this data collection.
- You are solely responsible for obtaining any required consents under Saudi privacy laws (including PDPL).
- You are solely responsible for complying with the terms of service of these third-party tools.
- SMA BOOK is not responsible for any data collected by these third-party tools.
3.3 Tickets & Refunds (Between Attendee and Organizer)
- Default Rule: Sold tickets are non-refundable.
- Exception: If you, as the Organizer, wish to offer refunds, you must clearly state your refund policy on your own Event page.
- Liability: You are the only person responsible for processing refunds or handling refund disputes with Attendees. SMA BOOK will not mediate, investigate, or issue refunds on your behalf.
- Organizer Acknowledgment: By listing a paid Event on SMA BOOK, you acknowledge that Attendees may expect refunds only according to the policy you publish on your Event page. If you do not publish a refund policy, the default rule (non-refundable) applies.
3.4 Event Changes or Cancellation
You have the full right to:
- Deactivate your Event
- Change your Event details (date, time, location, capacity, ticket prices, or any other detail)
- Delete your Event entirely
If you do so:
- You are solely responsible for any orders, tickets, or registrations already made.
- You must notify your Attendees directly and promptly.
- You are solely responsible for any refunds, rescheduling, compensation, or communication with Attendees.
- SMA BOOK is only a tool and is not responsible for refunds, rescheduling, or attendee compensation.
3.5 Event Content and Accuracy
- You are responsible for ensuring all Event details (date, time, location, description) are accurate.
- You must not mislead Attendees about the nature, price, or any aspect of your Event.
- Any fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading Event listings will result in immediate termination of your account.
4. Pricing, Plans & Payments to SMA BOOK
This section governs the relationship between the Organizer and SMA BOOK (ALFA TREND) regarding fees for using our platform.
4.1 Right to Change Plans and Pricing
SMA BOOK reserves the sole and absolute right to:
- Change our pricing structure at any time
- Modify existing plans (features, limits, or benefits)
- Introduce new plans or discontinue old ones
- Change the basis of charging (e.g., from per-event to per-attendee, or vice versa)
4.2 How We May Charge Organizers
We may charge Organizers based on:
- Per Event (a fixed fee per event created)
- Per Attendee (a fee for each person registered)
- Monthly/Annual Subscription (a recurring fee for access)
- Tiered Plans (different pricing for different feature sets)
- Any other model we determine and communicate to you
4.3 No Refunds for Platform Fees (Critical Clause)
All fees paid to SMA BOOK are non-refundable. This applies regardless of circumstances, including but not limited to:
- The Organizer cancels their Event
- The Event has fewer Attendees than expected
- Some or all Attendees do not attend the Event
- The Organizer deletes their account
- The Organizer changes their Event date or location
- The Organizer decides not to use the Platform for future events
4.4 Notice of Changes
We will make reasonable efforts to notify Organizers of pricing changes via:
- Email to the registered email address
- A notice on the SMA BOOK dashboard
- A notice on our website
Continued use of SMA BOOK after a pricing change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing. If you do not agree to a pricing change, your sole remedy is to stop using the Service and delete your account (no refunds will be issued for prepaid amounts).
4.5 Taxes
You are responsible for any taxes, VAT, or duties applicable to your use of the Service. SMA BOOK may collect taxes where required by law.
5. Attendee Responsibilities
As an Attendee, you agree to the following:
5.1 Your Data
- You consent to the Organizer collecting and storing your information (name, email address, phone number, and any other information requested).
- You acknowledge that the Organizer may use tracking tools (Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, etc.) on their Event page.
- You acknowledge that SMA BOOK is not responsible for the Organizer's use of your data after it is shared.
5.2 Tickets & Refunds
- Default Rule: Tickets are non-refundable unless the Organizer states otherwise on their Event page.
- Disputes: Any refund dispute must be resolved directly with the Organizer. SMA BOOK is not a party to any ticket purchase transaction and will not mediate or enforce refunds.
- Chargebacks: If you dispute a payment made directly to an Organizer, SMA BOOK has no involvement in that dispute.
5.3 QR Code & Entry
- Each invitation contains a unique QR code.
- Only one person may use each QR code to enter the Event.
- You are responsible for keeping your QR code secure. Sharing it may result in denied entry.
- The Organizer has the right to deny entry if the QR code has already been used, is invalid, or if you cannot verify your identity.
5.4 Accuracy of Information
- You are responsible for providing accurate and truthful information when registering for an Event.
- Fake, fraudulent, or misleading registrations may result in denial of entry and termination of your access to the Platform.
6. Paid Events (Organizers Only - Attendee Payments to Organizer)
If you create a paid Event:
- Attendees will pay you directly (offline methods: bank transfer, cash on arrival, or any other method you arrange).
- SMA BOOK does not process these payments online, nor do we hold, transfer, or handle funds.
- You are solely responsible for collecting payments, issuing receipts, managing unpaid registrations, and any tax obligations.
- You may use SMA BOOK to track who has paid (e.g., marking "payment received" status), but this feature is for your internal tracking only and does not constitute actual payment processing.
- No payment information (credit card details, bank account numbers for Attendees) is collected or stored by SMA BOOK.
7. Prohibited Activities
You may not use SMA BOOK for:

| Fraudulent Activities | Selling counterfeit goods, fake tickets, fake certificates, or any deceptive practices |
| Data Misuse | Collecting attendee data for purposes outside the stated Event, selling attendee data, or spamming attendees |
| Technical Abuse | Attempting to hack, scrape, disrupt, or bypass security measures of the Platform |
| Age-Restricted Content | Events involving adult content without proper age verification (where permitted by law; strictly prohibited if illegal in Saudi Arabia) |
Violation of this section may result in:
- Immediate termination of your account without notice
- Permanent ban from the Platform
- Notification to relevant Saudi authorities
- Legal action by ALFA TREND
8. Account Termination and Suspension
8.1 Termination by Organizer
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion:
- Your Events will be deactivated
- Your data will be deleted within 30 days (subject to legal retention requirements)
- No refunds will be issued for any unused platform fees
8.2 Termination or Suspension by SMA BOOK
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- We are required to do so by law
- Your actions create risk or harm to SMA BOOK, other users, or the public
8.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service ends immediately
- We may delete your data (subject to legal obligations)
- You remain liable for any fees incurred before termination
- No refunds will be issued
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Saudi law:
- SMA BOOK (ALFA TREND) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 6 months, or 100 SAR (whichever is greater).
- We are not responsible for: Organizer actions or inactions, Attendee conduct at Events, Third-party tools (Facebook, Google, etc.), Event cancellations, changes, or no-shows, Losses arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, Any disputes between Organizers and Attendees.
You use the Service at your own risk.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ALFA TREND, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your Event (including but not limited to disputes with Attendees, injuries at your Event, or property damage)
- Your use of third-party tracking tools
- Your violation of any Saudi law or regulation
- Your fraudulent or deceptive conduct
11. No Warranties
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Any defects will be corrected
- The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
- Attendees will show up to your Event
- Your Event will be successful or profitable
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Between Organizer and Attendee
SMA BOOK is not responsible for resolving disputes between Organizers and Attendees. Any dispute regarding:
- Ticket refunds
- Event changes or cancellations
- Denied entry
- Event quality or description accuracy
...must be resolved directly between the Organizer and Attendee.
13.2 Between You and SMA BOOK
For disputes between you and SMA BOOK (ALFA TREND):
- You agree to first contact us to resolve the matter informally
- If informal resolution fails, the dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Saudi Arabia
- You waive any right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms
- For significant changes, we will notify Organizers by email (if you have an account) or through a prominent notice on our website
- We encourage you to review these Terms periodically
Your continued use of our Service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

16. Miscellaneous
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ALFA TREND regarding your use of the Service.
16.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
16.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
16.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
16.5 Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargos, government actions, natural disasters, or internet failures.
